The user is required to interact with the content in order to learn faster, understand easier and retain more information than would be possible by being passive or non-participatory.

Multimedia - Multimedia refers to any process that uses more than one medium to convey information. A multimedia process uses text, graphics, still and motion video, animation, and audio to present information.

Computer Based- Computer based refers to any process that's primary delivery mechanism is a computer. Computer based processes can occur by interacting with another application, with a piece of equipment, or with other individuals.
